About The Record

Introduction: The Record of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Online

Members have been enjoying Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s magazine, The Record, since 1880. But even if you no longer receive a physical copy of the magazine in the mail, you can keep up with your Fraternity with feature stories and in-depth profiles of brothers from around the Realm through your browser. Click through and read up on your chapter. Leave a comment to share your thoughts with our more than 190,000 members around the world. E-mail the stories to your pledge brothers or post them on Facebook or your other social-networking site with a handy link at the bottom of each page.

To learn more about how to get a mailed copy, visit our FAQ, which also answers some other standard questions members have about the magazine. You can make your donation to help The Record continue its excellence, both in print and online, at www.sae.net or you can send a check to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation, 1856 Sheridan Road, Evanston, IL 60201-3837.

Construction and Attribution: Creating the Magazine

The Fraternity’s online magazine was created with open-source tools, including an implementation of the Monochrome theme from Graph Paper Press running on a WordPress backend. All content, however, is created by and under copyright by Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

The Record would like your thoughts on the new site and the future of the the Fraternity’s communications. Contact Brandon Weghorst, Associate Executive Director of Communications, at bweghorst@sae.net or at (847) 424-3038.
